Owner Chris Bailey said Blocky was the nickname of his grandfather, a machinist in Pennsylvania. "A lot of my passion for food came from my grandfather," he said. "When I was a kid, he brought me to the local Eagles club. He played cards, and I learned how to bartend and cook for all the old guys playing cards.
"We stopped in to pick up lunch today and had never been in before — staff was super helpful (and patient!) while we made up our minds. We tried the subs, and the pizza rolls and both were very good. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and delicious. You could tell they really care about the food and the customers. I'm excited to go back and try some of the pizza!
